What Our Customers Say
Exceptional service. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and reliable. The pharmacists and their entire team are the very best.
Andrew G. on Google
“I prefer patronizing local, independent businesses and Theatre earns my business in many ways: prompt, efficient service; good hours; helpful staff (both pharmacists and front-of-store); and interesting merchandise I don’t find elsewhere.
They carry prescription meds that other pharmacies told me they had to order. And when one medication had a supply problem, the pharmacist called around to others to find it for me.”
Andrew P., Lincoln, MA
“I have not used another pharmacy (with the exception of obtaining urgent medication after hours) since moving to Lexington over 35 years ago. It is the only pharmacy I trust 100%. I always let them know if I can wait for medication (in case someone else is in a rush), and I trust the advice of the very experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated pharmacists. The staff is consistent and lovely in the front of the store. It’s also a great place for greeting cards, medical supplies and other items. In all the time I’ve been using Theatre Pharmacy, they have never made an error. They are the best. Really. The absolute best. That is, besides being just really nice people. I cannot say enough positive things about this pharmacy. If you are in the area, just use them. You won’t regret it.”
Helene M., Lexington, MA

In a world of chains, Theater Pharmacy has provided personal excellent service for decades and still does today. Stop in and try this family run business. Years ago, I thought that I needed to go to a chain for savings after years as a Theater Pharmacy customer, only to find out that Theater Pharmacy’s drug prices are competitive and sometimes cheaper than the local chain pharmacies!

Best pharmacy ever! Love everyone who works there! They absolutely bend over backwards to make customers happy… Will order special product, call in special prescriptions… you name it… Will NEVER go to CVS or Walgreens unless forced to….

honestly one of the best pharmacies I’ve ever been to they don’t bother you about anything they don’t make up these absurd rules of how to get your medication because they’re not a chain they do absolutely everything by the law and when you’re paying for your own medication or whether the insurance companies paying for your medication as long as it clears get your medication now that’s great customer service

Even with two large chain pharmacies close by, I only get my meds at Theater Pharmacy. They have, hands down, the most personable customer service of any pharmacy I’ve ever been to. In addition to the staff who work the counter, the pharmacists are so incredibly helpful when I need advice on medical products or medicines. Also, when I’ve had issues with my insurance company—and who doesn’t—they’ve been great about working with me and my insurance company to get things settled. I know that most insurance companies are trying to get us all to use the large pharmacies or mail-in meds, but with such service, attention, and prices, I won’t go elsewhere.

Theatre Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I know of. The pharmacists and the clerks are knowledgeable and helpful, service is fast, and prices are really good. Theatre also carries beautiful soaps and toiletries.

Professional, much more time efficient, and lower cost than major brand pharmacies. Outstanding!

Excellent customer service. I drove from Brighton to Lexington to pick up my medication, and I’m so happy I did. I grew up in a small town, and Theatre Pharmacy reminded me of that in a lot of ways. I spoke with the pharmacist (who was filling my medication) directly. As it turned out, I could not fill my medication until 3 days later (per my insurance), and when I showed up again, the pharmacist looked up, and said “Hi [my name]!” It was just such a different experience than the chain pharmacies. I have actually gone to Theatre Pharmacy a few times since then, simply because of the great service – despite the half hour drive! Overall, great experience.
Review on Angie’s List
I’ve been going to Theatre Pharmacy for more than 30 years – ever since CVS filled a prescription incorrectly. The people at Theatre have always been very responsive and helpful, even when I have overlooked the “no refill” note on my bottle. I have a chronic condition and I know that I’ll never be without my medicine. They make the necessary calls to fix everything. Blue Cross sends me monthly letters urging me to join a medicine by mail program to save money. I can’t believe that they would take such good care of me.

I have been satisfied with him. Overall, I have had an absolutely outstanding experience with them.

The best service!

This is one of the rare non-chain pharmacies that still exists, and I very much enjoy going in there. Very friendly and personalized service – they’re very much part of the local community. At the same time, they’re at least as good as the chain pharmacies. So you don’t lose anything, but get friendlier service and support a local small business in the community.

Excellent customer service especially when an ill customer was in need. Half the price of Belmont Medical which was very rude to me today. Recommend using Theatre Pharmacy for medical equipment as well as a pharmacy whenever possible!!

Great Place! staff is super friendly, and with some drugstore items it’s much better priced to buy from here!
