I went here for diaper rash cream for my daughter. She had a horrible case of it and was so uncomfortable it broke my heart. I purchased some of diaper rash cream they make and when I tell you it’s a miracle! Within one day it had improved significantly and I had tried EVERYTHING. Will never use anything else . These guys are saviors. Allergy season started and my Allergy doctor prescribed for Cromolyn 4% eye drops from CVS westford.

I very rarely write evaluations, but Acton Pharmacy deserves the 5 stars. Their compouding department always goes above and beyond anything required to make sure that you have exactly what you need when you need it. I’ve been using them for years, and can’t say enough good things about them – competent, compassionate, efficient – you name it. Always has knowledgeable help with any question. That’s why customers like me are so loyal to it, despite the pressure of 3 CVS pharmacies within 5 miles of it. In my most recent example, I called my Dr. for advice about apparent conjunctivitis. The nurse had no advice and no openings and recommended going to an urgent-care center.

Since I had a prescription to pick up at Acton Pharmacy, anyway, while I was there I asked if they had any advice. The pharmacist then asked me some basic triage questions, and concluded that it didn’t seem to be an infection, just unusually bad incident of dry eye, and gave me care advice that turned out to be correct. Just 2 minutes of wise (free) help, avoiding a half-day sitting in an urgent care center, near coughing people, and catching the flu for my efforts!

I think it is important, now , to reflect on the behavior and service of places such as pharmacies during the Pandemic’s worst days as well as during any of its days. Again, Acton Pharmacy did a wonderful job. Additional Senior times were set up so that the traffic in the store was for the greatest part restricted to the most vulnerable and those in need. The staff always wore masks and a simple – and non annoying, clear barrier- was put in place at the counter. Clear markers were everywhere for social distancing while waiting in line and the floor was vacuumed. Also an air filtration system was set up The first time I entered the site after its installation- unaware of its presence- I was surprised at how “not like an indoor environment” it felt. Bottom line: felt safe every time I was there while the service continued to be excellent . As someone who went there regularly, I am grateful for everything they did. Thank you. **** I have used Acton Pharmacy for years. AP is more than a pharmacy. It is my local pharmacy. I prefer it 1000 times more than mail order where orders get bollixed and distance works against easy resolution of any problems. They are first rate pharmacists. The service is always friendly and prompt. Everyone is always helpful. I leave with every question answered confident in the quality of the medicines I have received.

This was the 3rd place I tried for a flu shot. The 1st was booking appointments 5 days out, the 2nd gave me a confirmed appointment, but when I showed up they couldn’t give me the shot b/c they were still running behind from the day before (!). West Concord Pharmacy is doing walk-ins, and there was no wait when I went. Both people I dealt with were friendly, helpful, and polite, even when there was an issue entering my insurance (military Tricare–the stuff of nightmares). I assumed they were going to give up at one point, but the pharmacist actually got on the phone with the Tricare helpline (not for the faint of heart), got it straightened out, and got me vaccinated. This is my new pharmacy!

Over the years I have met various people in the store and found them all to be helpful, kind, and passionate about helping out. Their process of compounding is unique for this area. Excellent customer service. I drove from Brighton to Lexington to pick up my medication, and I’m so happy I did. I grew up in a small town, and Theatre Pharmacy reminded me of that in a lot of ways. I spoke with the pharmacist (who was filling my medication) directly. As it turned out, I could not fill my medication until 3 days later (per my insurance), and when I showed up again, the pharmacist looked up, and said “Hi [my name]!” It was just such a different experience than the chain pharmacies. I have actually gone to Theatre Pharmacy a few times since then, simply because of the great service – despite the half hour drive! Overall, great experience.

Even with two large chain pharmacies close by, I only get my meds at Theater Pharmacy. They have, hands down, the most personable customer service of any pharmacy I’ve ever been to. In addition to the staff who work the counter, the pharmacists are so incredibly helpful when I need advice on medical products or medicines. Also, when I’ve had issues with my insurance company—and who doesn’t—they’ve been great about working with me and my insurance company to get things settled. I’ve been going to Theatre Pharmacy for more than 30 years – ever since CVS filled a prescription incorrectly. The people at Theatre have always been very responsive and helpful, even when I have overlooked the “no refill” note on my bottle. I have a chronic condition and I know that I’ll never be without my medicine. They make the necessary calls to fix everything. Blue Cross sends me monthly letters urging me to join a medicine by mail program to save money. I can’t believe that they would take such good care of me.

After some horrendous experiences with big box store pharmacies, I went looking for an independent, family owned pharmacy for prescriptions for my family, and found a gem in Keyes Drug. In addition to their service and competence, they stock many hard to find products, such as reparative hand lotions, surgical splints, etc.. This pharmacy is a breath of fresh air after dealing with the large chain pharmacies (CVS) for years. Both the counter staff and the pharmacists are knowledgeable and pleasant. More importantly, they are genuinely helpful and give you time and attention that is sorely lacking at the big chains. In several cases the pharmacists have taken the time to note medication changes, dosage changes, or just something that they thought was unusual… I was so grateful that I have switched EVERY ONE of my family’s prescriptions to Acton Pharmacy, even though I live 15 minutes away (and there is a CVS 3 minutes from my house). Keyes Drug

I can’t say enough about the wonderful customer service at Keyes. Our son’s prescription is not covered by our insurance and a very sweet pharmacist at our local CVS recommended we check with Keyes to see if it’s less expensive. Sure enough, it’s $30 less and they mail it to our house! Every time I have called they are a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone.
